Ciao a tutti.
In
queste foto ho postato un episodio forse veramente avvenuto in quel di
Poitiers tra due nobili che hanno sicuramente partecipato alla fatidica
battaglia del 19 settembre 1356. Uno è Jean de Goussencourt (di rosso e
di bianco ermellinato), l'altro è l’Inglese Sir Adam of Louthe Essex,
fedele al Principe Nero (rosso e giallo). Come sia andata a finire a
voi l'onere di scoprirlo. Nella scenetta ho montato due pezzi che com’è
logico sono autonomi. L'idea del diorama mi è venuta vedendo le belle
foto del libro di Venturi.

Duel to the death!
Hi
everybody! Here’s a post with an event possibly happened between two
noblemen during the fateful battle in Poitiers, Sept. 19th, 1356. One of
them is Jean de Goussencourt – white and red with small back patches.
The other one is an Englishman, sir Adam of Louthe Essex – red and
yellow – loyal of Black Prince. Here’s to you the burden to find
out what really happened. In this scenery I assembled two pieces which
are independent, of course. The idea of diorama came after seeing the
wonderful pictures in Venturi’s book.
